Novelty 2024: The PIKO model of the 245 series appears in red paint with DB Biscuit and “bwegt†logo. The 245 is a series model that differs from the pre-series locomotives in the number and design of the roof and side fans and the chimney. Of particular note are the precisely manufactured parts and assemblies, such as the solid die-cast zinc frame, etched metal ventilation grilles, the prototypically detailed bogies and numerous free-standing attached parts, such as the front handlebars. The model has a white/red light change and is prepared for the easy retrofitting of a decoder and sound.
