Prototype: The BR 185 represents a further development of the BR 145. In total, over 405 locomotives were procured by the BR 185. This makes the series one of the most common electric to be found on German tracks. With it, the locomotives of the DB Class 140 were replaced in particular.
Model: 2-Rail direct current operation; interface after Nem 652. The model convinces by the finest varnishing and printing as well as a high tensile force. Clutch intake according to NEM 362; Direction-dependent light change white/white.
