New for 2022 With the H0 model of the Vectron electric locomotive, PIKO is fulfilling the wishes of PIKO fans who, both as plant operators and collectors, have decided on models based on the latest railway technology. With the Vectron, PIKO supplies a high-precision manufactured model that has numerous extras based on a solid zinc die-cast frame and equipped with proven PIKO standards. The tried and tested PIKO motor ensures excellent running properties with two large flywheels. The tractive effort of the locomotive, which is driven by all four axles, is increased by two traction tires, which sit in a diagonal arrangement on the inner axles of both bogies. The head and tail lamps are illuminated by LEDs, the red or white of which changes with the direction of travel. The exceptionally elegant appearance of this model includes a precisely reproduced technical "roof landscape" and carefully detailed bogies with prototypical wheel disc profiles. Print variant of the BR 193 as BR 193 ELL of the NS in epoch VI. The sound version of the model already has an mfx-capable Plux22 sound decoder at the factory.
