New in 2024: The PIKO model of the BR 770 CD reproduces the proportions of the original exactly and is presented in a paintwork and printing that is true to the original in era V. The precisely reproduced housing with the handrails and the finely engraved bogies impress with many added details. The etched railings are as delicate as they are sturdy. The heavy die-cast zinc frame, combined with a powerful five-pole motor, gives the model excellent driving characteristics. The lighting is provided by LEDs, the cab and engine lighting can be controlled digitally. The BR 770 from PIKO has a matching PSD XP sound decoder ex works, which in combination with the large loudspeaker ensures special sound experiences on the system.
