    Electric locomotive E402B RFI in yellow/blue livery of the FS, epoch VI

    The Infrastructure Division of the FS, or RFI - Italian Railway Network, is equipped with three E402B electric locomotives hauling diagnostic trains to monitor the condition of the network. These are units 101, 142 and 149.

    After a general overhaul carried out in the Foligno workshops, the E.402 142 returned to service in January 2021 in the new, eye-catching yellow and blue livery that currently characterizes all RFI diagnostic trains.
