Model: The BR 57 Steam Locomotive features a DCC interface, can motor with flywheel, all metal frame, bi-directional prototypical lighting and all wheel drive. Model has extensive detail and great running performance.
Prototype: At DB the BR 57 locomotives were often deployed in tough switching work and with short-distance freight trains. The model has a newly designed front buffer beam with coupling facility, digital interface and reworked propulsion system with floating-mounted tender axles to improve smooth running and power consumption.
