Product Features and Details
What we call the ICE, the French call the TGV. This family of rail car trains is undergoing
continuous technical and visual further development at Alstom. This process led to the
“TGV Euroduplex” derivative, which can reach speeds of up to 320 km/h / 199 mph. This name
refers to ten-car, bi- evel train sets with two powered end cars and eight intermediate cars. And as
the name suggests, the fleet of 134 trains is equipped for international services. They operate as
“TGV INOUI“ not only on many routes in France but also in Switzerland and Germany. Passengers
traveling on weekends, on vacation, or on business trips can enjoy typical French flair – at high
speed and in great comfort. Needless to say, on-board services include Wi-Fi as well as fine
coffee with a brioche served in the bistro. This is unadulterated joie de vivre! Fans of H0 scale
can put the TGV INOUI, comprising the full ten cars, on their layout and dream of France.
