Product Features and Details
Prototype: Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) class RAm TEE diesel powered railcar train as the TEE "Edelweiss", with the train route Amsterdam - Brussels North - Luxembourg - Strasbourg - Basel - Zürich. 4-part set in a crimson/beige basic paint scheme. 1 motor car, 1 compartment car, 1 dining car, 1 open seating car with a cab control compartment. Diesel powered railcar train road number 501. The train looks as it did at the end of the Fifties.
Model: This train definitely belongs as an embodiment of elegance in the list of Club models and is only the third SBB model in this line. The absolute 1:87 scale length and the high level of detailing of the model, together with the silky smooth and powerful running characteristics make it a special highlight on any H0 layout. This train also cuts a fancy figure in a display case. The motor car as well as the compartment, dining, and open seating cars are constructed of high-quality die-cast zinc. The new diaphragm connections provide a continuous closed appearance. The typical TEE sound with its large diesel motors is a completely new development.
