Prototype: Iron Ladle Car, used in the steel plants in the USA. Torpedo ladle for the transport of 260 metric tons of molten crude iron. Superstructure has bolsters and auxiliary bolsters on eight 2-axle trucks. Version according to American railroad standards.
Model: Era V, diecast metal car frame and torpedo. Container can be turned to the side 120°, hatch is removable. Complete car is weathered. Detailed trucks, American RP 25 wheel sets. Cars come with NEM coupler pockets and close coupler mechanism, couplers compatible with the Kadee system. Length over the couplers 302 mm.
