MB Trac team in Raiffeisen Landhandelsdienst
The Raiffeisen co-operatives grew strongly in the 1970s, their importance as a prosperous country trade and thus an agricultural partner grew. As a result, the specialized fleets also expanded at the numerous independent locations. WIKING miniaturized the MB Trac with silo trailers, which was in the service of Raiffeisen and thus also clearly confirms color. The MB Trac 700 stands for an alternative tractor concept, which caused a sensation in the 1970s and was also often used as a road tractor as in this Raiffeisen application. Those farmers, who at that time were lodging the order for Mercedes Benz, were certain of the suspicion of the neighboring farms. And because the unusual concept with equal-sized tires and the rear-side device carrier option was so innovative, WIKING decided in 1975 to miniaturize.
