The 160 km / h fast TRAXX-Renner of the series (E) 186 have not only conquered the high-speed line of the Dutch railways (NS), they are also found in the high-speed train service. For the traffic on the Dutch high-speed line HSL-Zuid were actually the HVG trains V250 of AnsaldoBreda intended. Replacement, however, had to be leased from the E 186, designed for 160 km / h, which were deployed on schedule from September 2009 on the Amsterdam - Schiphol - Rotterdam - Breda route. After a successful test, today's plans will be able to guide all ICRm trains with PRIO cars in sandwich traction (one locomotive at each end of the train) with the E 186. The NS currently has 20 rented E 186 and about 30 copies of the newly ordered E 186 001-045.
