Model: version of the BR 102.1 of the DR in orange livery Ep. IV. The PIKO BR 102.1 has according to the field of application a powerful engine with precisely balanced flywheel for very good handling characteristics, a reasonable maximum speed for model railway use and sufficient pulling forces for all prototypical train sets. Other highlights of the model with the finest paint and printing are the cab lighting, the freestanding shunting handles and railings and the small fire extinguisher as an eye-catcher. The separate, digital disconnectability of the red "tail light" is linked to the direction-dependent, automatic light change white / red. Thanks to a Next18 interface, the model can easily be retrofitted with state-of-the-art digital technology.
