Information about the model
The Royal Württemberg State Railways (KWSt.E.) acquired a total of 350 four-axle passenger cars starting in 1845. These were continuously modified to meet increasing demands. In 1899, a major refurbishment program began, during which some of the cars received new bodies with modern double windows. As four-axle third-class cars, they were classified as type C. In this modernized form, some of the old cars reached an age of over 100 years.
