Based on: Since the spring of 1992, the Deutsche Bahn have introduced something especially attractive into their regional services. The class 610 railcar unit has tilting coach bodies for negotiating tight curves and is well known as the "Pendolino". On the old routes where tight curves abound, a higher speed has been attained because the coaches lean inwards on the bends. The "Pendolino" is available in two liveries: turquoise-mint/pastel-turquoise and traffic red. The "Pendolino" from FLEISCHMANN is not just reproduced in all the important details which can be seen, but even has a working tilting mechanism, so that when the FLEISCHMANN model negotiates a curve, then the coaches lean over - just like the real thing!
