Prototype: The Bavarian locomotive Class BB II: A Historical Account
In 1899, the renowned manufacturer Maffei proudly introduced the first three locomotives of the Class BB II series, bearing the road numbers 2501-2503. Building upon this early success, Maffei continued their craftsmanship, constructing an additional 22 locomotives between 1900 and 1901, which were designated as road numbers 2504-2525.
