Standard features include built-in LED interior lighting, separable current-carrying couplings, and end-of-train lighting at coach ends 1 and 2, each separately digitally switchable. Type-specific undercarriage and skirt. With Minden-Deutz heavy-duty bogies, prototypically equipped with disc brakes, magnetic track brakes, and separately mounted generators.
