Electric locomotive BR 181.2 "Lorraine" of the DB, epoch IV, AC with sound
New for 2021: The PIKO model of the 181.2 "" Lorraine "" with sound shows all relevant details of its role model and impresses with the finest paintwork and printing, raised nameplates on the sides, extra front handles and door handle bars, sharply engraved bogie panels, fine insulators and pantographs with different contact strips. The lighting is done by LEDs. The driver's cab and engine room lights, which are built in as standard, can be controlled digitally like the taillights that function depending on the direction of travel. A powerful five-pole motor with two precisely balanced centrifugal masses, which drives all four axes, ensures excellent driving characteristics. The heavy PIKO model has two traction tires and a heavy zinc die-cast frame for large pulling forces. A PIKO SmartDecoder 4.1 with a suitable vehicle sound is installed ex works. Optional attachable brake hose dummies are included with the model.
