Product Features and Details
“Novelty 2025: Print version of the BR 117 in the DB version in early Era IV. The PIKO model impresses with its prototypical details, such as the filigree handrails and roof lines as well as the free-standing sandboxes and springs. The characteristic front view with the three-part window is perfectly modeled on the prototype. The model has lighting that changes in the direction of travel using the latest LED technology. The locomotive is factory-equipped with a PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker. The model bears the “fits mfx®” quality mark. A new “fits mfx®” quality mark was introduced together with Märklin and other manufacturers to make digital decoders reliably usable for all users of the current Märklin digital command stations. This can only be used by digital decoders that have undergone and fully passed a special mfx® test. These decoders and also the locomotives in which they are installed bear the “fits mfx®” quality mark, which certifies unrestricted mfx® functionality. This means that PIKO products with the “fits mfx®” logo now also fully support the diverse functions of mfx®.”
