Novelty 2022: Variant of the Rh 1044 in the version of the OBB in Era IV. The characterful face of the locomotive of the former OBB parade horse was excellently hit in the model implementation, as was the striking side of the vehicles, which with the pronounced beads and the typical "portholes" Posed challenges to mold making. The resulting impression of an ideal visual effect continues in the locomotive's bogies. Last but not least, the new 1044 is technically convincing: a five-pole PIKO motor with two finely balanced centrifugal masses on its shaft ensures even propulsion. Model railroaders who prefer digital operation benefit from the mfx-capable PluX22 sound decoder, which is already installed in the factory in the sound version. The change of light, which is obligatory today, was implemented using modern LED technology, as was the attractive driver's desk illumination. On the other hand, the lighting in the driver's cab, which is also available in the PIKO model and can be switched in digital mode, is not a matter of course.
