Novelty 2026: Shaped version of the BR 103 as the long version of the DB AG in Era V. Even more than 50 years after their introduction, the legendary cult locomotives of the BR 103 remain visual highlights on German railway lines thanks to their timeless appearance, attracting a lot of attention. The model impresses equally with a heavy die-cast metal frame with finely detailed body, finest paintwork and printing, and delicate metal pantographs. The five-pole, ball-bearing motor ensures excellent running characteristics together with two flywheels. The LED lights change direction-dependently white/red and, like the cab interior lighting, can be digitally switched via a PluX22 decoder. The model has a PluX22 digital interface according to NEM 658 and is prepared for simple retrofitting with sound and the largest possible speaker. Brake hoses for retrofitting are included.
