With this machine, the PIKO designers have once again succeeded in converting a model into the H0 size with flying colors. The result is a model that excellently reflects the overall appearance and characteristics of the DE 18 and has a variety of details, including extremely vivid engravings of the ventilation grilles and bogies with an excellent optical depth effect. The powerful motor with two flywheels ensures smooth running; the pulling force is increased by two diagonally arranged traction tires. In conjunction with a digital decoder, many prototypical lighting functions can be switched. The attractive driver's cab and driver's desk lighting is part of good form with new PIKO designs. A modern PluX22 interface is available on the tidy circuit board for easy retrofitting of a decoder.
