With this machine, the PIKO designers have once again succeeded in converting a model into the H0 size with flying colors. The result is a model that excellently reflects the overall appearance and characteristics of the DE 18 and has a variety of details, including extremely vivid engravings of the ventilation grilles and bogies with an excellent optical depth effect. The powerful motor with two flywheels ensures smooth running; the pulling force is increased by two diagonally arranged traction tires. In conjunction with a digital decoder, many prototypical lighting functions can be switched. The attractive driver's cab and driver's desk lighting is part of good form with new PIKO designs. The new PIKO design is factory-equipped with a PSD XP sound decoder with the largest possible loudspeaker.
