Prototype
Only two DB Class 10 locomotives were ever built (10 001 and 10 002). They represented the final development of German express steam power before diesel and electric locomotives took over. 10 001 carried the striking blue boiler cladding and burned heavy fuel oil, making it one of the most recognizable German steam locomotives ever built.
