The local railway locomotive with the type designation PtL 2/2 (passenger train tank locomotive for local railways) is certainly one of the most well-known steam locomotives from the old days among railway enthusiasts. People called them Glaskastl, Schnauferle, Quietscherle, Bockl, etc. Their power output was rated at 210 hp. They were permitted to travel at 40 km/h (25 mph) - but according to reports from locomotive engineers, they ran at 60 km/h (37 mph) and more.
