The Belgian State Railways put new direct trains between Brussels and Rotterdam into operation in December 2024. For this service, the SNCB/NMBS leased locomotives 186 119-122 (previously with the Dutch State Railways) from Alpha Trains, in addition to the existing locomotives. They thus received the current SNCB/NMBS design.
