Class 41 Steam Locomotive
Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) Class 41 308 passenger and freight steam locomotive with a 2'2 T30 short tender. Operating condition circa 1956. Version with older-style boiler, closed front apron, and Witte-type smoke deflectors.
Model: Newly designed 2'2 T30 short tender. Locomotive and tender chassis, as well as tender body, are made of die-cast metal. Built-in digital decoder and sound generator compatible with mfx and DCC formats. Tender drive, 3 axles powered, traction tires. Firebox flicker effect via processor-controlled LEDs (red-orange). 3-light headlights, cab lighting, and running gear lighting using warm white LEDs. Opening smokebox door. NEM coupler pocket at the tender end. Length over buffers 146 mm.
Retrofit kits for shunting steps, rail cleaners and piston rod protection tubes are included.
